If you were wondering where I have been recently, I have been preparing for my baby girls birthday! We had a little birthday dinner for her this past weekend with grandparents, and I wanted to show you some of the fun details and decor! You don't need to spend a ton of money to have a cute theme and party. The biggest reason I spent so much time on her birthday was the scrapbook. I love scrapbooking and wanted her to have scrapbook of her first year just like her big brother. These are time consuming, but well worth it. We love looking back on these memories

Now for the decor! Balloons. Balloons. Balloons. A cheap and easy way to decorate for a party that looks fantastic! Balloon garlands are easy to find in any color scheme on Amazon. I had two separate garlands (linked here) around the house as well as a few helium filled balloons (linked here). To add a nice touch, I also added in a little greenery (linked here).

A Cricut machine (linked here) is any crafters best friend. It can cut, write, and do just about anything. I made all the signs, scrapbook pages, and monthly milestone banner with the Cricut. While they can be a little pricey, I have used mine SO MUCH over the past three years that I have ended up saving a ton of money.

The cake topper we used is linked here. Such a fun little detail that wasn't too overwhelming for a one year old. A neighbor made the adorable little smash cake and the sweet little cookies were made by a local business Lil Cookie Co. Overall everything was just perfect for my sweet girl.
